Murton, Dorothy
On Saturday January 6, 2024, Dorothy went to be home with the Lord from Trillium Villa Nursing Home in Sarnia, in her 100th year. Dorothy was the beloved wife of the late James (1994). Loving mother of Cindy Murton and the late Ralph Murton (Gloria). Cherished grandmother of Vince Murton and Mark (Sylvia) Murton, and great grandmother of Mya and Mikayla Murton. Dear sister of Shirley Lennox. Loving aunt of John Hemingway, Brenda Willson, Terri, Brett and Steven Harris and Ken Wood. Dorothy sang with her sister Edie on the radio during the Second World War for the troops from Calgary. She loved art and produced some beautiful watercolor paintings. Dorothy was very kind and generous to all - truly a wonderful person. She deeply loved her family and will be greatly missed. Her faith in God was strong and never wavered. The family wish to express their thanks to staff at Trillium Villa for their compassionate care of Dorothy. A private family interment will take place.
