It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert “Bob” Molland, which occurred at Vision Nursing Home on January 25, 2024 due to complications from a fall. Robert was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan of Mary and William Molland, the last of four children. He was predeceased by his parents, sister, Marie Hunter, Vancouver, brothers Cal, Calgary, and Neil, Saskatoon. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patricia, and many nieces and nephews especially Margaret Molland, Welland, Out. Rob Hunter, Singapore, Ann and Jeff Kreiser, and Julie Loveless all of Michigan. Robert loved his work in Human Relations at Imperial Oil where was employed for many years. At retirement he volunteered at Red Cross driving Kidney patients to London. He was a member of Greenwood Golf course and Golden K's Kiwanis Club. His love and knowledge of geography inspired both Robert and Patricia to do extensive traveling. Skiing the Austrian Alps, riding a hot air balloon over the pacific in Mexico, swimming with the dolphins in Bermuda, walking the Great Wall of China, visiting the Pyramids in Egypt and so many other places, visiting 64 countries. Arrangements have been entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia. Cremation has taken place. At Robert's request, there will be no visitation or service; a family gathering will take place in the spring. Donations in Bob's honour may be made to the charity of your choice (cheques only at the funeral home please). Bob had a long, productive and very happy life. May he rest in peace.
