Predeceased by her Grandparents, parents Beatrice (Nee Butterman) and William Murdock, her sister Margaret Sheeler, and her brother Leo Butterman. Ella was an avid reader, whom loved sharing her knowledge and lending a hand, especially to those in need. She enjoyed spending her days outside in the garden, at the cottage, on the beach and most importantly she loved and cared for her family. She started having some health problems and needed some extra help and TLC. Her youngest daughter Crystal would do anything for her sweet mother and did. Crystal gave her sweet mother quality daily loving care, never going far incase her mother needed her, they were inseparable. Crystal was by her mother’s side peacefully until her final hours on earth until she became an angel in heaven instead of on earth. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida with “Pops”. She loved decorating her home and especially loved decorating her classroom, where she taught so many wonderful students, and was the best at it! She had an incredibly huge heart. Ella was smiling until she left to be an angel, Mom was an angel on earth and now in Heaven. She was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of person. A special thank you to Vision Nursing home for all their love, care and compassion that they showed to our sweet Mom. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home on Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with Words of Remembrance for Ella at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
