Peacefully with family by her side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Sunday, December 31, 2023, Carol McLeod (née Gardner) of Port Franks passed away in her 76th year.
Beloved Wife of Jim McLeod. Cherished mother of Jennifer MacLean Craig ( Jarret Craig). Adored grandmother of Collin, Jack, Chloe & Adam.
Dear sister to Jan Henderson & Deb Schoales (Doug). Loving sister in law to Kathy Ford (Bruce) & Marg McLeod. Loving Aunt to Shannon, Jason(Kelli), Megan (Tim), Brooks (Kayla), Reid, Sherry (Todd), Jackie (Brad), Tracy, Brenda, Deb, Darcy (Cathy), Kathy (Graeme), Cindy (Andrew), Jolene & Great Aunt to their children.

Carol & Jim are the proud owners of Sandpiper Cottages in Port Franks and have shared the beautiful shoreline of Lake Huron with so many friends over the years who rented their cabins every summer. Carol & Jim shared many fun filled winters down south with their cherished Florida friends. Carol was an active member in her community, most notably with the Caring Quilters who met weekly at the Community Center to create their hand made quilts for victim services of Lambton Shores.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service & Celebration of Life will be held at the Knox Presbyterian Church in Thedford, Ontario on Saturday, January 6th, 2024 at 11:00am with service starting at 11:30 followed by a luncheon and Celebration of Life.
