Martin, Mary Catherine passed peacefully with family by her side at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the age of 78.
Loved by sister Joan and her nephews David and Andrew. She was a caring aunt of 2 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews.
Mary worked hard and worked locally for many, many years. She had a love for the Royal family and enjoyed travelling the world. Later in life, she opened her heart and home to numerous cats.
The family extends a special thank you to the members of the community who genuinely cared for her and helped Mary stay in her home as long as possible. We also want to thank the staff, nurses and doctors at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital for their kindness and compassion in her final days.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held by family on Saturday, September 21, 2024 from 1:00 - 5:00. There will be lunch provided throughout the day and it is a come and go event. Between 2:00 - 3:00 anyone who wishes to share stories and memories they are encouraged to do so at this time. The celebration of life will be held at: Lizzy's Country Cafe and Catering, 109 Main Street Thedford, ON N0M 2N0
