Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Bridget Mak passed away at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Hank Mak. Loving mother of Steve Barnier (Brenda), Tim Barnier (Vicky), Susan MacDonald (Gordon), Pamela Saya (Gordon), Dan Barnier (Sheri), and David Barnier. Cherished grandmother of Rene, Chad, Nick, Stephanie, Jason, Glenn Chesney, Abby, Samantha, Ben, and Dana. Dear sister of Erica Froome. Predeceased by her parents Frank and Elizabeth Schnur and her first husband Glen Allen Barnier. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Moore Union Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice, the Inn of the Good Shepherd, or the Kidney Foundation of Canada (cheques only at the funeral home please).
