Sally (O’Flynn, Hocking) Louks
With great sadness the Louks/Hocking family announce the passing of Sally at the age of 88 years.
Sally is survived by her loving husband James Louks, her sons Andy (Danielle) Hocking and Tom (Crystal) Hocking and predeceased by her step-son, Paul Hocking. Her grandchildren Raymond, Mackenzie, Nicholas Hocking and Frank Hocking, Alyssa (Derek) Cosford and their children Brooks, Remy, Karsyn and Emerson.
She also leaves behind her family in Wallaceburg, her sister, Kathy O’Flynn and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her in-laws, Don (late Mary Jane), Gary (Bonnie), Wayne (late Marlene), Brian (Patsy), late Ken (Eleanor), late George (Janet) and Louks nieces and nephews.
Sally was predeceased by her parents Desmond and Ola O’Flynn, her sister Margery and her husband Harley Taylor, her brother Gary O’Flynn and his wife Marie and her brother Andrew O’Flynn and his wife Betty.
Sally worked as an X-ray technician at the Sarnia Hospitals and later in life she worked at the old Marshall Gowland Manor.
Sally loved camping, travelling, going to the casino, lottery tickets, being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and watching their sports events.
Cremation has taken place. An informal gathering will be held at the Sandpiper where she lived for the last 15 years in the Community Room at 175 Wellington Street, Sarnia, on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Please enter from the Queen Street parking lot entrance – there will be a sign on the door. If you wish, you can make a donation to the charity of your choice.
