Peacefully at Copper Terrace Nursing Home in Chatham on Wednesday July 3, 2024. Francois “Frank” Laverdiere age 89 years formerly of Corunna. Loving husband of 35 years to Marilyn. Much loved father of Delos MacDonald (Lissa) of Petrolia, Susan Freer of Corunna and Noelle McCormick (Craig) of Chatham. He was a treasured grandfather of 11 grandchildren and 21 great-granchildren. He was a dear brother-in-law to Gary Robertson of Brigden and will be fondly remembered by his siblings, Madeline, Roger, Raymond and Carmen. Frank was predeceased by his mother-in-law and father-in-law Muriel and Henry Robertson and by his siblings, Dian, Jeanine, Emily, Rosaire and Jules.In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place and his family will be remembering him privately. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
