After a courageous battle with cancer, Jamie passed peacefully at home at the age of 59.
Beloved husband for 36 years to Darlene (Jamieson). Loving father to Brad and Bryan (Haley). Adored Grandpa to Lucas, Benny, Jack and Beau. Son of Mac (2008) and Joyce (2019). Son-in-law of Bruce and Diane Jamieson. Brother to Joe (Charlotte, 2024), Kelly (Patty), Perry and Paula (Joe). Brother-in-law to Kevin (Heather). Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Jamie will be remembered by his hard work ethic. He had a heart of gold and was always willing to help anyone out. Jamie was tough on the outside but had a soft spot for his trucking companions, Bandit (2021) and his crazy girl DJ.
Jamie logged a lot of miles driving for Triple L Trucking and kept his truck immaculate. He probably spent just as much time washing it as he did driving it. He had a love for tractor pulling. If he wasn't at one, he was watching them on TV or his phone.
Jamie spent a lot of time with his boys, teaching them everything he knew. He was so very proud of them both even though he didn't say it enough. He was proud of the Dad's they have become and that they could fix anything they put their hands on. Jamie was excited to see his grandkids and listen to everything they already knew at a young age.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the various VON nurses who enabled Jamie to stay home until his final hours. Also, they would like to thank anyone who has reached out with their kind words and support.
Cremation has taken place and no funeral services will be held.
