Charlotte Anne (née Thomas) Lacey - Peacefully passed with family by her side at Saint Joseph Hospice, Sarnia, Ontario on Saturday January 27, 2024, at the age of 59.
Beloved wife of Joseph for 37 years. Loving mother to her children David (Haley Thuss), Daniel (Lindsay Brager-Lacey), and Nicole (Scott Thomson). Dear grandmother of Archie. Survived by her parents Earl and Alice Thomas, and her brother Donald Thomas.
An animated woman, she enjoyed many things from cooking, yoga, music, hiking, travel, rock collecting and art to name a few. Ultimately, she loved to host guests, which spoke to her nature of wanting to provide for others. Always placing the ones she loved before herself, she was a doting woman that sacrificed herself for the enrichment and enjoyment of others. Always active in the community, she supported her friends and family in times of need, as well as devoting her time to the success of the Thedford Legion. Well traveled, Charlotte enjoyed different spots of the world, visiting across Canada, the United States, Central America, and Ireland. Energetic and lively, she accomplished much in her short life.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street, Forest, on Friday, February the 2, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. A private graveside service will follow for immediate family with Interment at Pinehill Cemetery, 8560 Ridge Rd, Thedford, ON N0M 2N0
Guests are welcomed to meet in memory of Charlotte following the service at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 278, 42 Nelson St, Thedford, ON N0M 2N0
