Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at St. Joseph's Hospice, Eleanor "Ellie" Joanne Kramer passed away at the age 73. Beloved wife of the late George Kramer. Loving mother to her twins Kacey Brinksman (Nick) and Kindra Hicks (Dan), her daughter Lonita Bluteau (Steve) and her son Tyler Kramer (Jess). Cherished grandmother to Jayden Langs (Austin), Chase Hale (Alicia), Grayce Hale (Owen), Maygen Pearce (Brennan), Deanna Hicks, Harley Kramer and Barron Kramer. Treasured great grandmother to Charlie Langs. Dear sister to Anne Deelstra (Arnold) and Josie Nienhuis (Nick), She will also be greatly missed by all her in laws and all those who called her "Tante Ellie". Predeceased by her parents Teake "Ted" and Tetja "Tillie" Vanderzon, her brother David Vanderzon (Doris), and sisters Gertie Banninga (Art) and Riek Deelstra (Herb).
Ellie was a beautiful lady with a fun and friendly disposition. She dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren.
After retiring as a homemaker her and her husband enjoyed going on adventures around the country and spent many years enjoying their friends and family at the cottage they shared known as their "Happy Place".
Creamation has taken place. In keeping with Ellies wishes, no service will be held. Sympathy maybe expressed through donations to the St. Joseph's Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home). Arrangements entrusted to Smith's Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
