Peacefully in his sleep, Robert “Bob” Knight, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, just two days after his 78th birthday. Bob was the best friend and husband of Vickie Knight of Woodstock. Much loved father of Susan Knight (Gerry Nead) of Port Lambton and Melissa Ginn (Brad) of Wyoming, and step-father of Chris Harkness (Kelly) and Rob Harkness of Woodstock. Treasured grandfather of Mckenna, Hunter, Kyle, Abigail and Grace. Bob leaves behind his older brother Bruce Knight and his younger sister Betty Wellington, and his beloved in-laws, the Mason family. He will be especially missed by his sister-in-law Sue. Bob was predeceased by his parents Clifford and Ilene Knight. Cremation has taken place. An open house to celebrate Bob’s life will be held at the Smith Family Centre (directly in front of Smith Funeral Home) 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. with words of remembrance at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 30, 2024.
