Klein, Mary Emma (nee Zeman) - Peacefully at Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia on Thursday, May 2nd, 2024 at the age of 95.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary, loving mother of Nina (Ken) and Randy (Daintry) and grandmother of Aly (Kenard) and Hannah. Special friend of Peter Billing and his son Noah.
Aunt / Ciocia/ Teta / Mary / Mare will be missed and fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews; Tami (Wojcik) Lanigan, Tanya (Wojcik) Edmunds and their families; and the Billing family as well as by all whose lives she touched.
Predeceased by her husband Robert (2002), sister Betty (1973) and brothers John (1981) and Stanley (2001).
A very special soul, Mary hosted friends daily, and often hourly, in her kitchen with a cup of coffee and an open ear. A talented artist who enjoyed painting with both watercolours and oils, her unmistakable handwriting was a distinct and cherished trademark.
Mary enjoyed listening to music, especially Strauss waltzes, always had fond memories of her days at Ford Motor Company head office in Windsor, and said she was looking forward to unlimited newspapers and magazines in heaven!
In keeping with mom’s wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or service. She asked that you honour her by smiling at the memories you have of her and by being accepting of others. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the John McGivney Children’s Centre in Windsor or a charity of your choice.
