Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at home, Floyd Wayne Joseph passed away at the age of 75.
Beloved husband and best friend of Jacqueline (nee Plain) for 38 years.
Loving father of Terri, Jaclyn (Jay), Floyd, Jessi, Tracey, Jill, M.A., Vince, Thomas, Melinda, Jason (Natasha), Sheree (Nimkee) and Matthew.
Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents William and Blanche, his sisters Shirley, Eloise, his infant brother Clifford, and his beloved dog and best friend Samson.
Floyd was a Residential School survivor, who attended Mohawk Institute “the mush hole.” He was an avid hockey fan and especially loved the Leafs, he enjoyed playing bingo, and when travelling he enjoyed fishing. Above all else Floyd was a true family man, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken place.
A memorial service will be held at Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, 1972 Virgil Ave, Sarnia, on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 1:00 PM.
