Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Lynne Susan Jasper passed away at the age of 83. Mother of Norma (Derek) Kenward and Dan (Rhonda) Cousins. Cherished grandmother of Michelle (Mervin) Kember, Jeanine (Nicholas) LaVallee, Rachel (Sean) Mizener, Adam (Joy) Cousins, Jacob Cousins (Stephanie), and great-grandmother of Seth (Grace), Ashton, Sophia (Luke), Brecken, Noah, Lincoln, Iris, Dominic, Lyla, Eden, Scarlett, Willa, Lola, Joy, Leeland, Memphis, Ian, Violet, Masie, Olive, Isaac, Liam, and great-great-grandmother of Jane. Dear sister of Leeland Jasper and Dale Jasper. Predeceased by her parents Meldrum and Helen Jasper, and husband Grant Cousins, and Gary Trinkett. Lynne was a remarkable lady, known for her exquisite sewing skills and passion for everything cowboy. Affectionately called the “lady in red”, Lynne’s love for John Wayne and country music echoed through her vibrant life. Lynne’s affection for dogs and cats added a touch of gentleness to her lively personality. Lynne will be remembered for her spirited personality. A special thank you to the nurses and staff on Palliative Care floor, especially Dr. Crombeen, for their excellent care. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Sarnia Gospel Hall, 1791 London Line, Sarnia, Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health – Palliative Care (cheques only at the funeral home please).
