With broken hearts the family of Ronald “Logan” Hunter shares that Logan lost his short and valiant fight with pancreatic cancer at age 39. Logan is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Alicia and their beautiful children, Maddox, Millar and Merrick. They were his world and he simply wanted the best well-rounded life for them. Logan’s dad Ron has lost his best friend and farming partner, while his mother Jayne has lost her pride and joy. Sisters Erin (Junior) Farrelly and Meghan (Jill McFate) Hunter have lost the best brother ever. Logan’s family will miss him terribly.
Logan will also be missed immensely by his father and mother-in-law Scott and Barb McKellar, brother-in-law Brad (Bridget) his nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, his chosen family of very good friends, his hockey teammates, work friends, and many he knew well in the local and hockey community.
Logan will be welcomed into the open arms of family that has pre-deceased him, including grandparents Gordon (1982) and Elva (2005) McGregor, Richard “Dick” (2023) and Bernice (1993) Hunter.
Logan was a passionate life-long farmer, an engaging student of life, a respected supervisor at Hydro One, an accomplished hockey player and coach. He had a hard-work ethic, a desire to do a good job, a love of the land, and excellent communication skills that helped him foster close friendships, teamwork at hockey, Hydro One and in the farming community. He shared his love of the farm with his children, and established them all in sports, and in a community of loving relationships with family, friends and sports, especially hockey.
Together we will all miss him terribly and commit to doing our best to honour his memory, living out his hopes and dreams for his family, while living our best lives as well. His influence is etched into our hearts, and he will only be a thought away, loving, coaching and guiding us, and if we are lucky, bring a smile or a laugh.
The family wishes to acknowledge the wonderful demonstration of support from family, friends and the community. We are humbled, comforted, grateful and enriched. We’d like to recognize his caregivers at London Health Sciences Centre, Cheryl Churcher and Dr. Allison Crombeen.

A Celebration of Life will take place at the Brooke-Alvinston-Inwood Community Complex, 3310 Walnut Street, Alvinston, Ontario on Wednesday February 7th, 2024 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
