With sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our mother, Donna Marie Huff on Friday, April 12, 2024.

Born on December 6, 1937, she was 86 years old. Our mother loved life and all the people who shared it with her. She was kind, loving and caring. Always thinking about other people’s needs and being giving and generous. Making sure they knew they were special to her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was a strong woman who faced challenges in her life with courage and dignity. Married to Clifford Huff on July 19, 1958 for 28 years before he passed away suddenly in November 1986.

They raised and adored their 3 children, Wesley (Cheryl), Jason (Sue) and Krista (Perry). She also lovingly cherished her son-in-law Ed Litrenta and daughters-in-law Carol Brazeau (Richard) and Barb Huff.
Also dear to her heart were the grandchildren, Carly (Garrett), Anthony (Shayna) and Christian Litrenta, Corey and Jamie (Jackie) Huff, Adam (Carly) and Kalee Huff. Also great-grandchildren, Jasmine and Cora Huff, Millee and Huni Huff.

She was predeceased by parents Doris and Malcom Kettle and brother Mac Kettle. Survived by sister Linda (Roy), niece Lisa (Tanya) and nephew Craig, niece Debbie (Brian), children Karissa, Jestin, Josh and Jillian, nephew Mike and daughter Elise.

Mom, you will always be in our hearts. Every time the phone rings, we will all think it is you. Never did a day go by without your call to check on us. Family and many friends who will miss the words “what did I catch ya doing?” We will never forget you and we love you so much!  Rest in peace. Until we meet again.

A memorial service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Sarnia & District Humane Society  (cheques only at the funeral home please).
