HENRY, George

It is with deeply broken hearts that the family of George Stanley Henry announce his passing at Marshall Gowland Manor surrounded by loving family on Thursday May 30, 2024. Beloved husband for 43 years of Elena Henry.  Predeceased by his first wife Winnie. Loving Father of Susan Egan (Bob), George Henry (Brenda) and Mark Henry (Leane) and Step-father of Caroline Temple and Tom Temple.  Cherished Papa to 14 grand children and 26 Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

George is survived by his sister Shirley McFarlane (Bill), predeceased by his parents William & Eva Henry and siblings Harold and Myrtle.

We wish to offer our warm and sincere thanks to the staff on the Ivy unit at the Manor for the loving care given to George over these past 3 years. We will be eternally grateful.  For those who wish in memoriam donations made to the Marshall Gowland Manor Auxiliary (https://www.lambtoncares.ca/donate/support-us/) or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
