Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Monday, September 9, 2024, at Bluewater Health, Frank Guerette passed away at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Deborah Guerette. Loving father of Cyril (Maegan) Guerette and Jeremy (Teresa) Guerette. Cherished grandfather of Dominic, Justus, Selah, and Bishop, and Mitchell, Mya, Casey, and Mason. Dear brother of Edgard (late Diane), Georges (Carol), Donald (Monica), Aurore (late Cliff), Gilles (Kathy), Triumphant, Nelson (Shannon), the late Helene (late Yves), the late Wilson (Lucy), Arlene (Bob), the late Rose and Zoe. Remembered by mother-in-law Mildred Campbell and sister-in-law Darlene (late Richard), and many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Donat and Doris Guerette. Frank was a faithful employee of Labourers Local 1089 as a Union Executive Officer. He was an accomplished wrestler and football player and enjoyed reading in his spare time. Above all, Frank was a devoted father and grandfather and he will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him. A funeral service will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Friday, September 13, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation held one hour prior from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home please).
