In Loving Memory of Janice Grennan

The family mourns the loss of a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, sister and friend, Janice Nora Grennan, who passed away on July 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and compassion. Born on December 16, 1936, in Nosh Creek, NB. Janice led a life filled with grace and service to her community.

Throughout her earthly journey, Janice found solace in her faith and community. She was a cherished member of Our Lady of Mercy and St. Benedict's Parish. Her dedication extended to the Catholic Women's League where she was a member for over 44 years, where she shared her kindness and wisdom with all who knew her.

Janice was predeceased by her loving husband Ken Grennan (2004), parents Alexander and Ophelia Furlotte, son David Grennan (2020), sister Viola Tracey, and her grandson Miles Grennan. She now rests peacefully as she reunites with them in eternal serenity.

Janice leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her dear sons Dan Grennan (Sheila), Larry Grennan (Karen), and daughter-in-law Elynne Grennan. Her presence will forever live on through her grandchildren: Kristina Frizzle (Matt), Bryan Grennan (Sara), Jacob Grennan, Amanda Noel (Eric), Sara Grennan (Kareem), Zac Grennan (Erin); and great-grandchildren Owen & Bennet Frizzle, Easton and Reese Noel.

In this time of profound loss, Janice's sisters Shirley Lapalme and Diane Lanteigne stand together in remembrance of a cherished sister. She also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends in Nash Creek, NB.

Helen Donnelly held a special place in Janice's heart as a dear friend whose unwavering companionship brought light into Janice's life over the past several years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Sarnia on July 20th at 10:00 AM. Interment of ashes will take place at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery on Monday, July 22nd at 11:00 AM.

In every prayer uttered and every kind deed done, let us honor the beautiful soul that was Janice Nora Grennan—forever remembered for her warmth, generosity, and unwavering love.
