Cathy D. Gordon passed away on November 6, 2024, at the age of 70 in Sarnia, Ontario. Born on April 6, 1954.

Cathy is survived by her husband Ric, daughters Leslie (Mario) and Teri (Grant), sisters Christine (Tom), Cindy (Rod), and Ann (Murray) and her grandchildren Jacob, Grace, Taeyah, and Travis. She will also be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Thomas (Jackie), George (Carolyn), Justin (Heidi), Lorien (Dan), Junea, Murray, Chris, and Jeff. She was preceded in death by her father Ron, mother Audrey, sister Carol (Albert) and grandson Gordon.

Cathy spent her life devoted to her family, her church, and her passion for hairdressing. Cathy began her journey in education at E.A. Lovell Primary School, and later attended Central Collegiate and Vocational Institute. She pursued her passion for hairdressing at George Brown College, which led to a rewarding career as a hairdresser, a

profession where she brought joy and beauty into the lives of those around her.

Cathy was a cherished member of both Calvary Baptist Church in Oshawa and New Life Assembly in Petrolia. Cathy found a deeply caring extended family at New Life Assembly where she was actively involved. Her hobbies included tending to her vegetable garden and preserving the harvest; activities that reflected her nurturing nature.

Above all, her greatest love was for her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Her best achievement in life was sharing with others the gift of salvation though Life in Christ. Many lives were changed because of this and she was unashamed in telling others how Christ changed her life. She lived it, she shared it and in the end was ready to be with her Father in heaven. She is at peace and finally home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at New Life Assembly Church, 421 Oozloffsky St. Petrolia, Ontario, on November 16, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., with a reception to follow. Those who knew Cathy will remember her warm spirit, her dedication to her family and friends, and the love she shared through her work and community involvement.
