Peacefully, surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, Maggie’s long fight with COPD ended. Survived by her husband Scott, her sister Dianne and her children Meghan (Andrew), Carlie (Andy), Ian (Jane), Mike (Kathie) and Wendy. She will be greatly missed by her 14 grandchildren.

Maggie spent many years working in retail in Sarnia, the Vanity Shop, The Den and Sears to name a few before finding the job that gave her the greatest joy, a school bus driver. Maggie drove the neighborhood bus route and knew all the children and their mothers. She loved to decorate the bus and bake special treats for every holiday, many remember her witches finger cookies fondly. Maggie loved to create and was always busy working on a new crafting project.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff on 4th floor telemetry and the ICU nurses, especially Julie, Allie and Heather.

Please join us on Sunday, October 20, 2024, from 1:00-4:00 p.m. for an open house at Smith Family Centre, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, to reminisce and remember Maggie surround by family and friends.
