Is it with great sadness that the family of Monica Michelle Espey announce her passing at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on May 21, 2024 at the age of 45.
Beloved wife of Beau Rigden. Loving mother of Jaxson Espey. Beloved daughter of Robert James Espey and Charlotte Luise Espey. Predeceased by brother Chris Espey, sisters Becky Espey and Courtney Espey and nephew Maguire Espey.
Monica was a ray of light to all she came across, with a heart so big all she wanted to do was help anyone who needed it. She gave me something I thought I'd never have in my life. Although liver cancer took her way too early, she was so full of life and a strong roll model and support for anyone who needed it. Monica will be loved and missed by all who knew her.
The family wish to thank everyone for all their love and support through this difficult time. Monica would not like everyone to be sad, she would want all of us to remember her for the strong vibrant beautiful woman that she is.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be conducted at a later date, notifications will be made when dates and times are finalized.
The family would kindly ask that in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Monica be made to either your local food bank, homeless shelter, women's shelter or methadone clinic as these are very troubled times we live in.
