Unexpectedly on Thursday April 18, 2024, at his home, Paul William Ensinger passed away at the age of 53. He was the loving father to Caitlyn and Brianna Ensinger and proud brother of Tim (Cyndi) Ensinger and his children, Kalvin (Cassandra) Ensinger, Keir (Jennifer Poirier) Ensinger, Maia Ensinger, and the late Mike Ensinger (2018) and his children, Vanessa and Vincenzo Naccarato. Paul will be dearly remembered by Carrie Pluck, his cousin Kim O’Connor, best friend Dwayne Buchanan, and his loved one, Jennifer Gray. He is now reunited with family and his best, furry friend, Buster.
Paul served in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 20 years, and like every proud Canadian, he loved the Leafs. He loved going home to Cape Breton, going on cruises, travelling, and camping. A true outdoorsman, spending time kayaking, hiking, and biking, came second only to spending time with his family. He was so proud of his girls, of who they grew up to be, especially when he watched them compete and practice gymnastics and horseback riding. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Paul’s life will take place in Cape Breton this summer.
