It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, Reta “Gene Ann” Dunlop in her 89th year at C.E.E. Hospital of Bluewater Health, Petrolia. Beloved wife to the late John David “Jack” Dunlop (2018). Devoted and loving mother to Scott (Susan) Dunlop, Cherie (Wayne) Johnson, Brian Dunlop (Michelle Mawlam), and Shelley (Jeff) Robertson, proud and cherished Grandma Gene Ann/Grandma D to Erin (Brent) Campbell, Andrew (Dylan Davis) Dunlop, Molly (Jason)McGill, Alex Johnson, Erika Dunlop (Shashank Badineni), Shelby (Justin) Laur, Taylor (Mike Hughes) Dunlop, Hannah Dunlop (Keith Stonier), Emily Robertson, and Great Grandma to Kaelynn, Ethan, Liam, Miller, Jameson, Avienna, Tigh, Nolan, Sawyer, Ryker, Rylee, Lainey, Gavin, Ella, Brynn, and Max. Gene Ann is survived by her sister Linda (Gord) Kenmir. Predeceased by her parents Byron Barnes and Vivian and Kenneth McLaren and her siblings, Betty (Gerald) Cherry, and Ken (Joyce) Barnes. She will be remembered dearly by her many nieces and nephews and life-long friends. A private family service will take place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to C.E.E.
