Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Thursday, June 6, 2024, Brian John Duffield passed away at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Beth Duffield. Loving father of Kathy Barraclough (Steve) and Chris Duffield (Samantha). Loving son of Grace Duffield. Proud Grandfather of Josh Barraclough (Julia), Nick Barraclough (Gill), Alex Duffield and Victoria Duffield. Cherished Great Grandfather of Easton Barraclough. Dear Brother of Steve Duffield (Laurie), Brother-in-Law of Brian Emmett (Karen), Sharon Emmett and Janet Macmillan (Paul). Predeceased by his father John Wilson Duffield and Brother-in-Law Wayne Emmett. He will be missed by many Nieces and Nephews. A special thank you to the exceptional Palliative Care Team, Dialysis Unit and London Prosthetics. Brian retired after 30 years of dedicated service with the Sarnia Police Service and was a proud member of the Sarnia Legion Pipe Band, Bluewater Harley Ownership Group and the entire motorcycle community who were steadfast in being by his side for many years. In keeping with Brian’s wishes cremation has taken place. A celebration of Brian’s life will take place on Monday June 24th, 2024. Family and friends will be received from 6:30 pm to 9:00 p.m. at the Sarnia Legion, 286 Front St. N., Sarnia.
