Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family, on December 22, 2023, James Dorman passed away at the age of 82.
Beloved husband and best friend of Enid Dorman of 62 years. Loving father of Karen (Gord) Murray, Jim (Karen) Dorman, Frank (Jenny) Dorman, Sue (Craig) Webb. Cherished grandfather of Steven Page and Jessica Page, Mike (Anne) Dorman, Adam (Kathleen) Dorman, Matt Dorman and Laura Eastabrook, Kirk (Emelia) Dorman, Scott (Lauren) Dorman, Chris Gough, Matt (Jessica) Gough and Desare Gough, Cameron Todd and Eric Todd. Treasured great grandfather of Dexter, James and Lilly (Jessica), Olivia and Delilah Dorman (Kirk), Skylar, Sophia and Liam (Matt), Nolan and Bennett (Adam). He will be dearly missed by his sister in law Marion McCully, brother in law Ray Chad, special niece Cheryl (Tim) Hescltine, special cousin Carla McLean and many other nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his daughter in law Tracey Dorman.
James was a longtime employee at Polysar (1961-2000) as a pipefitter. He loved all sports and excelled at everything he did. Golf was a huge passion, along with building furniture to perfection and being an electronic wizard. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at the Royal Canadian Legion, BR 62, 286 Front St. N., Sarnia from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
