DePaepe Camiel, peacefully began his journey home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 at St. Josephs Hospice. Camiel passed away at the age of 77.
He was the beloved husband of Wanda Pazdzioria.
Loving Father to Jason, Joshua, and Jessie (Kristen) and of the late Camiel Jr., Wesley and Vince.
Treasured brother to Pete (Bonnie) and the late Noreen, Gertie, June, Louie, and Vince (Lise).
Camiel was predeceased by his parents Pete DePaepe and Elenor White.
He was a cherished brother-in-law to Susie and a close uncle to John Boy (Doniece), Shannon (Jason), Patti (Charlie) to many more nieces and nephews. He was a devoted Grandfather to all his grandchildren and adored every one of them.
Camiel was a retired member of LIUNA Local 1089 and went on to be a devoted employee at Pot of Gold. He loved his dogs Calese and Jax. He always had an amazing smile on his face and a story to tell.
Camiel had so many loyal and devoted friends; there are just too many to list. He loved every one of you. Camiel will be greatly missed by many. And a special thank you to the staff at St. Joseph’s Hospice. You were all amazing and we will be forever grateful.
Family and friends will be received at MAAWN DOOSH GUMIG Community Center, 1972 Virgil Ave, Sarnia, ON, Tuesday November 5th 2024 From 2 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
A funeral service will be held at MAAWN DOOSH GUMIG Community Center, on Wednesday November 6th 2024 at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations and in lieu of flowers to St. Josephs Hospice (cheques only at the funeral home please)
