Bruce Ronald Toye passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health on December 30, 2023. Born on April 27, 1952 to the late Tena and Harry Toye. Predeceased by brother Greg (2023). Survived by sister Barbara, sister-in-law Debbie, nieces and nephews Derek, Andrea (Tyler), Michael, Angela and Gabriel. Bruce was a quiet gentleman of many facets – avid reader and book collector, knowledgeable and highly respected military historian, creative craftsman, cheese curd connoisseur and life-saving hero. He especially enjoyed a clever joke or play on words and shone at creating originals. Bruce was an active long-time member of the Lambton Sportsman’s Club.
