Mrs. Patricia Caron, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away with family by her side, on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Chatham-Kent Hospice, in Chatham, at the age of 81 years.
Patricia was born in Chatham and was a daughter of the late Patrick and Dorothy (Jones) Murphy.
Beloved wife of the late Jerome Caron (2015).
Loving mother of Michelle Ward, Maureen (John) Macfarlane and Michael (Michelle) Ward. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Joseph, Makenia, Andrew, Becca, Kelsea, Avarie and Haven.
Kind sister of Janeth Myers, Bill (Roxanne) Murphy, Bernie (Val) Murphy, Greg (Sharron) Murphy, Norma Chesney, Patrick Murphy, Dorothy (Doug) Petter and Steven Murphy. Predeceased by her brother Thomas (the late Sharon) Murphy and nephew Ryan Murphy.
She’s also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was very devoted to her family and especially adored her grandchildren. She loved knitting and her most passionate pastime was playing Bingo.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Wallaceburg, at 11:00 a.m.
Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Breast Cancer Canada may be left at the funeral home.
