It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chantal Renee Cardinal, who left this world peacefully at the age of 39, surrounded by the love of family in the comfort of the hospital on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2025. Chantal was born July 26, 1985, and was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, niece and friend.
Chantal's greatest joy was being a mother to her son, Ethan, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.
Chantal was a kind and compassionate soul, known for her deep love of animals and unwavering care of those around her. Whether rescuing a stray, lending a helping hand, or simply offering a warm smile, she lived her life with a gentle spirit and an open heart. Her presence brought joy, and her absence leaves an unfillable void.
Chantal is survived by those who cherished her the most, her son, Ethan Teasell, her father, Ian Butterfield, her mother, Lynn Fillion, her brother, Dan Cardinal, her sister, Nathalie Edgar and her nieces and nephews. Though she is gone too soon, her kindness and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Rest easy, Chantal. You were loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Love you forever and always sweet Channy.
