Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at Banwell Gardens, Windsor, William Clifford Campbell passed away at the age of 92. William has been reunited with his beloved wife of 61 years Margaret and treasured sons Allan and Craig Campbell. He will be deeply missed by his son Brian Campbell, Craig’s wife Jo-Lene Campbell, and grandchildren Emily, Nicholas, Bradley, Kassandra, Daniel, Mitchell (Ally), Zachary and C.J., great-grandchildren Lucas, Blake, Izabella, Teddy and Clara, and sister-in-law Shirley Batté. Bill worked at Dow Chemical as a chemical operator for over 35 years. He was very intelligent and spoke 3 languages. Bill and Craig enjoyed watching football and baseball together and now cheering on the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers together. He loved spending time on the golf course, but his favourite thing to do was share memories with his sons and grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Resurrection Cemetery, 1885 London Line, Sarnia, on Monday, October 21, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Alzheimer Society of Sarnia-Lambton (cheques only at the funeral home please).
