On April 20, 2024, at her Petrolia Home, Mary Campbell passed away at the age of 91. Beloved wife to the late Allan (2014). Caring mother to Marion and Gord Henderson, and Dan and Sharon Campbell. Loved grandma to Craig and Shannon Henderson, Chad Henderson, Cara (Greg Critchley) Campbell, Karly (Zee Siddiqui) Campbell, and Krista (Sus Bhagat) Campbell, and proud GG to Reed and Melanie Henderson and Aimen Siddiqui. Survived by her brother Don Pecena. Predeceased by her sister, Lydia (the late Bob) Van Every, and her sister-in-law Inez Pecena.
Mary was a wonderful and caring person who took care of everybody; a hardworking partner in a family farming operation, devoted mother and homemaker. She was a prizewinning pie maker in the Petrolia and Enniskillen Fair and a proud member of St. Paul’s and the United Church Women. She was always an enthusiastic fan of all her grandchildren’s and great grandchildren’s activities from hockey and skating to speaking contests and never missed a milestone moment.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s United Church, 4164 Petrolia Line, with visitors being received from 10:00a.m. to 10:45. Interment in Alvinston Cemetery at 2:30p.m. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to St. Paul’s United Church or a charity of your choosing.
