Unexpectedly but peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on Monday January 27, 2025. Harold “Soup” Campbell, aged 89 years of Corunna. Loving husband of the late Rose “Rodie” Campbell (2021). Much loved father of John Campbell (Mary) of Sarnia, Sherri Fordyce (Jason MacDonald) of London and Scott Campbell (Sandra) of Kelowna. Treasured grandfather of 10 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Harold is also survived by; his special, friend, Linda Lamourea of Corunna; his sister, Barb Howson (Doug) of Blyth; his brother, Dan Campbell (Charlene) of Toronto; his brother-in-law, Bruce Papple of Blyth and by his sister-in-law, Betty Campbell of Seaforth. He was predeceased by his sister, Gwen Papple and by his brother, Ron Campbell. Harold retired from Trimac Transport at age 65 and enjoyed nearly 20 years living at Thompson Gardens in Corunna. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Knight Funeral Home, 588 St. Clair Parkway, Corunna on Saturday February 1, 2025 from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. and a private family service will be held. In lieu of flowers sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society or to the charity of one’s choice.
