Duncan MacArthur Cameron, 74 years of age, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia on February 18,2025. Predeceased by parents Dr. Duncan and Diana Cameron and brothers Paul and Tim Cameron.

A kind and gentle soul, Duncan loved to walk throughout the downtown area, always impeccably dressed, complete with Tilley hat, shorts and backpack. An avid sailor in his younger years, he would sit by the river and identify the many sailboats coming and going. This vast knowledge of sailboats came from the many years he spent growing up at the Sarnia Yacht Club. A vivacious reader Duncan placed a high value on his many books he kept within his reach.

Duncan was grateful for the support he received throughout the years at Canadian Mental Health's Lambton Wellness Centre, Inn of the Good Shepherd and the Salvation Army. A donation in memory of Duncan can be made to any of these listed charities or one of your choice.

We would like to acknowledge Dr. Chris Greensmith, the staff of the 4th and 5th floors of Bluewater Health for their outstanding care, concern and love shown to Duncan during his final days. We would also like to thank Lourdes Bolante, housing manager at Hoskins Housing Co-op for her kindness and friendship to Duncan.

Duncan will be missed by his dear friends Lee and Diane Schultz and childhood friend Stephen Taylor.

Duncan's last gift to the world was signing his donor card leaving his brain and corneas to science. The spirit of Duncan can always be found at the place that he so loved – the blue, blue water of the St. Clair River.

A celebration of Duncan's life will take place when the sun is high, the river is blue and the sails are unfurled in the breezes of summer.
