With saddened hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Marinus Buchner on Friday, December 8, 2023, at Bluewater Health, at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Sue. Loving father of Jeff (Teddie) and Michelle (Rick). Cherished grandfather of Kyle, Miranda, and Tara. Predeceased by his first wife Shirley (1997) and by his parents Marinus (1998) and Maartje (1997). Marinus was an avid supporter and longtime fan of the Sarnia Sting. He also enjoyed spending time at Ironworks gym and volunteering with the Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettle Campaign. Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Marinus’ wishes, a private service will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Salvation Army (cheques only at the funeral home please).
