Marcia Lynn Bennett, age 52, passed away at University Hospital , in London, on June 30, 2024 at 10:17p.m surrounded by her brother Joel Bennett, sister-in-law Kim McAuley, and niece Rori Bennett.
Marcy was born in Wallaceburg on August 29, 1971 to Evelyn and Bill Bennett.
She is survived by three siblings, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.
Predeceased by her parents Evelyn and Bill Bennett, grandparents Stanley and Vera Bennett and Harry and Harriate Barnes, and her sister Robin Bennett.
Marcy was a dedicated member of St. James Anglican Church in Wallaceburg for her entire life, singing in the church choir and serving as a youth group leader in her younger years, and most recently as a Sunday school teacher.
Marcy found joy in her daily phone calls and visits with family and friends, everything Disney, watching Nascar, watching the Vancouver Canucks play, movies and music.
Following Marcy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care of Nicholls Funeral Home. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date, followed by a private family internment.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Chatham-Kent March of Dimes may be left at the funeral home.
