Peacefully and surrounded by her loving family, Lisa Marie Bell, passed away at London Health Science Centre on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at the age of 55. Much loved sister of Dave (Heather). Cherished Auntie Lisa of Taylor and Caleb. Predeceased by her parents Thelma and Burt. Lisa’s family and friends meant the world to her. From daily phone calls with her brother to lunches with friends, she treasured every moment. She loved the musical talents of Dave, Taylor and Caleb and would have a huge smile as she sang along proudly and loudly off-key to every song. Lisa was so proud to share every accomplishment of Taylor and Caleb and would often call them to ask what they were up to next. She loved hearing about Taylor’s classes at Western and loved to let others know that Taylor would be heading to the Worlds Irish Dance Championships soon. She was thrilled that Caleb had been accepted to start at Lambton College this September and couldn’t wait to see him graduate high school. Lisa babysat both of them when they were younger and in recent years they have shared all the things “they were not supposed to tell”. Lisa’s sense of direction meant they would end up lost somewhere in the city or even all the way out to Camlachie! She would join in with Taylor and Caleb telling these stories and laugh so hard she squeaked! Lisa was known as a sweet and generous old soul and will be fondly remembered by the many lives she touched. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and always remembered in their hearts. We are sincerely grateful to the many family members and friends who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss. As per Lisa’s wishes, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a trust fund for Taylor and Caleb’s future education costs (cheques payable to Caleb and Taylor Bell). Cremation has taken place and the family will hold a private ceremony. Please join us on Sunday, April 21st from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. for a Celebration of Life at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 388, 493 Erie St. Wyoming, ON. Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
Feel no guilt in laughter, she knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to
She’d hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared.
