It is with great sadness that the family of Ora Myrtle Baxter (Douglas) announce her peaceful passing at North Lambton Lodge with her three loving daughters by her side in her 92nd year.
Beloved wife of the late Ronald Baxter (2018) for 64 years. Loving mother of Linda & Keith Clark, Luann & David Ridley, and Lois & Bill Forbes. Cherished grandmother of Laura (Andrew), Kelsey, Melissa (Luke), Brandon (Lola), Jeremy (Dannie), Ashley (Rick), Trevor (Martha), Kelly (Jeff), Kaleigh (Chris), and great-grandmother of 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived by brother Harold (Marilyn) Douglass, sister Velma (late Bill) Skam, and sister-in-law Marie (late Ross) Wilcocks. Predeceased by great-grandson Rhys (2024), her parents David & Jenny, siblings Mary, Edward, Ronald, Gerald, Anna Mae, Keith and Ron’s siblings and parents.
Ora will be having a private family funeral service at Gilpin Funeral Chapel in the near future and an interment at Arkona Cemetery beside her loving Ronald. Memorial Donations in Ora’s memory can be made directly to the Ronald McDonald House in London or the North Lambton Lodge Auxillary Fund. The family would like to thank the entire staff at North Lambton Lodge for their love and compassion in their care of Ora.
