Surrounded by his circle of love, Ken passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Bluewater Health CEE at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Jeannie. Loving father of Casey (Sara) Amos, Rachael Amos, and Allison (Firat Ataseven) Amos. Cherished grandfather of Ahnita, Ethan, and Libby. Dear brother of Jim of England, Geri (Bill) Quinton of Fort Saskatchewan, and special cousin Marion of England. Predeceased by his parents Ronald Amos and Peggy Thomas, his son Rob Hastings (2023). Ken will be missed by his nieces, nephews, and all who knew and loved him. Ken was an active member of Rock Steady Boxing at Ironworks Gym in Sarnia. A passionate motorcyclist, he had a deep love for speedway racing, always chasing the thrill of the track. His interests extended beyond the road, as he also found joy in swimming and captured life’s beauty through his lens as a photographer. Ken was a proud boilermaker for many years. Cremation has taken place. Family and friends will be received at Smith Family Centre, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024, for an open house to celebrate Ken’s life.
