Florence Aiken (nee Wagner), formerly of Petrolia, passed away peacefully at Marshall Gowland Manor in Sarnia surrounded by her family on Friday, December 8, 2023, in her 86th year. Florence was predeceased by her husband Andrew “Andy” Aiken (2010). She was a beloved mother to Joy and Danny Anderson of Corunna, Jill South of Corunna, Karen and Dan Brown of Petrolia, Randy and the late Teresa Aiken of Petrolia, the late Tye and Ruth Aiken of Sarnia and Andy and Patti Aiken of Sarnia. She will be missed by her sixteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Florence is also survived by her sister Geraldine Ritchie. She was predeceased by her parents John and Olive Wagner, her sisters Betty Bromberg and Marjorie Huff, and her brothers Inez Wagner, Lloyd Wagner, Clair Wagner, and Herb Wagner. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Wyoming Chapel of Needam-Jay Funeral Home, 650 Broadway St., Wyoming. Visitors will be received prior to the service beginning at 11:00 a.m to 12:45 pm. Interment to follow in Hillsdale Cemetery.
