It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that we announce that Tom Abraham of Petrolia died peacefully in his home Wednesday February 28, 2024 at the age of 70. Tom is survived by his children Jessica, Geoff, Sarah, and Rhonda. He was the beloved grandfather to his 12 grandchildren, Liam, Roan, Taten, Brandon, Micheal, Gracie, Joseph, Stevie-Ray, Avery, Waylon, Nolan, and Christian. Tom was predeceased by his parents the late William T Abraham ”Bill” (2009) and Dorothy Abraham(nee Graham)(2008), also his brother David Abraham(1973). A special thank you to Jen and his little buddy Archer, whom he enjoyed spending time with. Tom enjoyed going to meet his friends at Munchies for a coffee and a chat. He loved hockey especially his beloved Oilers. Before his health declined, he loved riding his motorcycle, and being out in nature. He cherished any time he was able to spend with his grandchildren, whether taking them to the derby, going for a walk, or just hanging out talking with them. He will be greatly missed. There will be no service or visitation. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute (www.albertacancer.ca/why-we-need-you/albertas-cancer-centres) in Edmonton, Alberta who took amazing care of Tom and his family during his first battle with cancer.
