A Candlelight vigil to honour the children of Palestine and Israel is planned for this evening at Sarnia City Hall, organizers say.
"As the Israeli-Hamas war continues to rage, many children from both sides are caught in the crossfire," said Sahar Nasr, who is among a group of citizen organizers concerned of the ongoing violence against children and women in the Israeli-Hamas war. "On World Children's Day, Sarnia residents from all walks of life are invited to attend the candlelight vigil for the children of Palestine and Israel."
Members of the public are invited to gather for the family-friendly vigil at 5:30 p.m., being held to coincide with World Children’s Day, Nov. 20.
