The Mooretown resident was a loving and devoted husband, father, step-father and great-grandfather, the family says, who will be “fondly remembered as a lover of life and for his inappropriate (at times) jokes that will be missed,” along with an infectious laugh and memorable one-liners.

Ontario Provincial Police say members of the Lambton detachment responded to a report of a motorcycle in the ditch on Shiloh Line in Petrolia around 9:20 p.m. on June 2. Rawson was pronounced dead at the scene. The collision investigation remains ongoing.
