The Lambton Heritage Museum is gearing up for the annual Fall Colour & Craft Festival on Saturday, October 19, and Sunday, October 20, 2024. This popular event will feature over 70 juried artisans showcasing a diverse array of handmade products.

Visitors can expect a wide range of items, including art, home decor, bath products, clothing, food and beverages, jewelry, textiles, pottery, and woodworking. It’s a great opportunity to discover unique pieces and get a jump on holiday shopping.

In addition to the artisan market, the festival will feature an acorn-themed family-friendly craft in the historic Rokeby School. Attendees can also enjoy demonstrations of traditional quilting and timber framing, offering a glimpse into the region's craft heritage.

The festival is Lambton Heritage Museum’s largest annual fundraising event, with this year’s proceeds directed toward the reconstruction of the Canatara Cabin, supporting efforts to preserve and share Lambton County's unique heritage.

“The Lambton Fall Colour & Craft Festival is a wonderful way to celebrate the season and get a head start on your holiday shopping,” said Jessica Stevenson, Marketing and Events Coordinator with Lambton County Museums and Archives. “With an incredible selection of handcrafted goods, family-friendly activities, historical demonstrations, and stunning autumn scenery, it’s the perfect outing for all ages".

Admission is $5 per person, and children aged 12 and under can enter for free when accompanied by an adult. The festival will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on both days.
