Three Lambton College alumni have been nominated for the 2023 Colleges Ontario Premier’s Awards.

Garrett VanDusen, Nicole Paquette, and Don Richardson were selected to represent Lambton at the annual event, which honours the important social and economic contribution that graduates make to Ontario and throughout the world.

“Lambton College is always proud to celebrate the impact our alumni have in their chosen professions,” Lambton’s President & CEO Rob Kardas said in a news release. “In addition to career success, this year’s nominees have demonstrated a strong commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, dedicating their time and resources to creating meaningful change in the communities they serve.

“They have set an extraordinary example for our current students, and they are outstanding ambassadors of our college. My congratulations to all of them on receiving this prestigious nomination.”

Nominees are selected by each college based on their ongoing contributions to their fields and communities. The Premier’s Awards ceremony, to be held Monday, Nov. 27, recognizes one winner across seven categories.
