Aamjiwnaang Health Centre to host Flu & COVID-19 vaccination clinic

The Aamjiwnaang Health Centre is pleased to announce an upcoming Flu and COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic for Aamjiwnaang community members and Band members.

The clinic will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, at the Maawn Doosh Gumig Community Centre, located at 1972 Virgil Ave in Sarnia. Appointments begin at 10:00 a.m. and will continue throughout the day.

Community members eligible for a COVID-19 booster dose can receive one if it has been six months since their last dose or a confirmed COVID-19 infection. Flu shots will also be available and can be booked anytime by appointment at the Health Centre.

To schedule an appointment, please contact the Health Centre at 519-332-6770. For additional questions, Celsie Bressette, RPN (ext. 308) and Mikeesha Bressette, RPN (ext. 309) are available to assist.

This clinic is an opportunity to protect the health of the Aamjiwnaang community as the winter season approaches, encouraging everyone to stay safe and up to date on vaccinations.
