Sarnia's spring-summer recreation registration opens March 19

Those looking to stay active, engaged and entertained can now browse the full spring-summer City of Sarnia recreation program lineup, ahead of registration opening on March 19.

A wide range of drop-in and registration-based programs serving diverse recreation interests are once again on the table as the City gears up for the next two 2024 programming sessions. The lineup includes day trips, organized sports and a variety of fitness, arts, cultural, special interest, and hobby programs.

“We’re excited to be kicking off the spring summer season after a successful winter. We’ve added some new programs alongside old favourites to ensure there is something for everyone in our program schedule,” said Parks and Recreation Manager Krissy Glavin.

The City has a number of new programs available in the spring-summer sessions, including:

• Qi Gong movement, breathing, and meditation classes

• Latin Groovz dance routine classes

• Ceramic Painting Workshops

• Pumped Up Strength total body strength resistance training

• FitFusion comprehensive fitness classes focusing on flexibility, weight training, cardio, and nutrition

Prospective participants can now view the full recreation program lineup online at www.sarnia.ca/RecRegistration. Printed recreation guides are available at the Strangway Centre and City Hall Customer Service.
