With Novemburger, Sarnia joins other communities across Canada in raising funds through a lineup of one-of-a-kind burgers from local restaurants, each donating $2 from every burger sold to the United Way.
From loaded patties to creative fusion dishes, each participating restaurant is showcasing their unique take on a “United Way Burger” throughout November.
Here's a delicious rundown of the burgers to try:
Sideways, Sarnia: Aged Cheddar BLT Burger
Sideways serves up a juicy beef patty topped with aged cheddar, crispy bacon, shredded lettuce, ripe tomato, and red onion, all brought together with a creamy tarragon Russian dressing. It’s a BLT, but better—and all in a burger!
Los Puntos, Point Edward: Island Breeze Burger
Los Puntos takes us on a flavour vacation with the Island Breeze Burger, featuring two 5oz smash patties topped with grilled pineapple, red onion, back bacon crumble, chipotle ranch drizzle, jalapeño poppers, and shredded lettuce. A little sweet, a little spicy, and bursting with excitement!
MacPherson’s, Port Franks: Ruebenburg
MacPherson’s re-imagines the Reuben sandwich as a burger, complete with a 100% ground beef patty, Swiss cheese, corned beef, and a tangy sauerkraut sauce. Optional lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles bring the finishing touches to this deli-inspired delight.
John's Restaurant, Sarnia: Peameal Smash Burger
This classic double smash burger from John's Restaurant comes with a twist—peameal bacon! Sautéed onions, cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, and John’s signature house smash sauce on a brioche bun make this a rich, hearty bite.
Midtown, Sarnia: BBQ Mac Burger
Midtown combines the best of BBQ and comfort food in their BBQ Mac Burger, with a beef patty topped with tender pulled pork, crispy onion rings, creamy mac & cheese, and a sweet BBQ sauce. It’s pure indulgence.
Actor’s Casual Dining, Petrolia: Marsala Mushroom Burger
Actor’s takes a 6oz beef patty and tops it with Swiss cheese, creamy mushroom Marsala sauce, crispy bacon, fresh arugula, and red onion, all nestled in a soft brioche bun. It’s a creamy and savoury delight.
Burger Rebellion, Sarnia & Corunna: Poutine Burger
Burger Rebellion’s Poutine Burger combines a classic cheeseburger with their famous Guerilla fries, cheese curds, and homemade gravy. The ultimate way to celebrate Canada’s iconic dish and burger together.
Black Gold Brewery, Petrolia: Chicken Parm Burger
Black Gold Brewery offers a new twist with their Chicken Parm Burger: a breaded and fried chicken cutlet topped with mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, and a generous sprinkle of parmesan. A comforting and crispy treat that pairs perfectly with a craft brew.
Stokes Inland, Sarnia: Cheesy Spinach Burger
