Viking curlers edged in SWOSSA curling

Northern came within a whisker of advancing to the provincial boys high school curling championship, falling 6-5 to Windsor-Massey in an extra end in the SWOSSA final last week.

Northern came within a whisker of advancing to the provincial boys high school curling championship, falling 6-5 to Windsor-Massey in an extra end in the SWOSSA final last week.

The Vikings gained entry to the final, beating Windsor-Holy Names, 5-4 in the semi-finals.

In league play, Northern went 6-0, and after beating St. Pat's in the semi-finals downed Wallaceburg 7-3 to capture the Lambton-Kent crown.
